Jacobē Bell is a Senior Educational Consultant for Teaching Matters with an expertise in English Language Arts. In this position, she is a change agent who supports leaders and educators in strengthening their literacy and academic programs. Jacobē has extensive experience in writing Common Core aligned ELA curriculum, teaching teachers to run highly effective classrooms, and coaching administrators to build strategic, sustainable school-wide systems to support student learning.

With over a decade of experience as a National Board Certified Teacher, Instructional Coach, Network Administrator, and consultant in both the public and charter sectors, Jacobē’s practice is centered on building equity for all students. She is a graduate of Stanford University, holds a Masters in Urban Education from Mercy College, and is a current doctoral students at Teachers College, Columbia University.
