Creative Director, Filmmaker and Show Director
Scott Peterman’s career as a Creative Director, Filmmaker and Show Director has always featured a deep focus on integrating narrative and technology. He writes and executes immersive experiences, live shows, events, and films for brands (Nike, Turner, Pepsi), rock and roll bands (Smashing Pumpkins, Bon Jovi), and nonprofits (Robin Hood Foundation, Save the Children). His work spans a variety of media and budgets – from working with Billy Corgan to create a 31-song goth rock opera for Smashing Pumpkins’ reunion tour to creating the NY International Fringe Festival winning play Sailor Man. Throughout his career, Scott has worked on one of the best-selling video games of all time (Grand Theft Auto), served as the VP of Marketing for an Ad Age Top 100 Brand (Bonobos), and managed service and retail marketing for the most successful retail establishment in history (Apple Store Fifth Avenue). Scott has worked as an educator and STEAM evangelist as an Adjunct Professor at Parsons: The New School for Design and has lead workshops on coding, wearable technology, and storytelling at top tier institutions around the world, from Paris to Dubai. When not directing live events or inspiring young minds, Scott writes zany comedies and terrifying horror films with his writing partner Cat Davis.
