Senior Educational Consultant | Impact Team Leader
Linda Wolvek is a Senior Educational Consultant for Teaching Matters with an expertise in 6-12 literacy. In this position, she supports educators in ELA, ENL, humanities and social studies curriculum and pedagogy, while also serving as a thought partner to administrators in several schools. Linda also has extensive experience in facilitating PLCs, and is a trained Critical Friends Coach.
Prior to joining Teaching Matters, Linda was a teacher, program coordinator, and training teacher. She then went on to be a professor of English Education for graduate students seeking advanced degrees in literacy and secondary education. She has earned a Bachelor’s Degree in English with a minor in linguistics and a Masters in Secondary Education, with focus on English Education, both from California State University Northridge.
