Senior Educational Consultant
Judith LeFevre is a Senior Educational Consultant and Virtual Coach for Teaching Matters with expertise in teaching and teacher education, including curriculum design and virtual coaching. In this position, she supports educators in growing their teacher leadership skills as they earn micro-credentials and advance to various leadership roles in their schools. Judith also has experience in authentic assessment and project-based learning and has worked extensively with students who are English Language Learners and students with special needs.
Prior to joining Teaching Matters, Judith was a teacher, instructional coach, special education program coordinator, curriculum designer and proposal development specialist. An Arizona Master Teacher, she worked in the Tucson area, as well as rural schools in central Arizona, then moved to New York City to teach in Washington Heights before transitioning to consultant work with Teaching Matters. She earned a dual Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary and Special Education from the University of Arizona and a Masters in Teaching and Teacher Education (specializing in Environmental Learning) from the University of Arizona.
