Jennifer Ostrow is a Leadership Coach for Teaching Matters, and an experienced school leader accomplished at building schools and programs from the ground up. In this position, she helps districts and schools identify, develop and credential teacher leaders. She also helps districts build professional learning communities and leadership teams. Jennifer is skilled at using creative, innovative thinking to help schools and students succeed. Key skills include instructional coaching, leadership development, vision and strategic planning, school systems operations and budgets, school culture, career and technical education, and personalized learning.
After serving as a teacher and principal in New York City Public Schools, and Director of New School Development for the Urban Assembly, Jennifer has worked for the past several years nationally as an independent consultant in school and program development. She earned a Bachelors Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from West Virginia University, and a Masters in Education from New York University.
