The Elizabeth Rohatyn Prize for Schools where Teaching Matters
Jenn David-Lang is a Virtual Coach for the Emerging Teacher Leader program at Teaching Matters. She supports teachers through by coaching them virtually as they train to become teacher leaders. In this role she supports teacher leaders in their positions leading various teacher teams (grade-level teams, departments, and other teams) by coaching them in a variety of skills from leadership to professional learning to pedagogical skills.
In addition to consulting with Teaching Matters, Jenn runs The Main Idea – a service to develop the professional knowledge of school leaders by connecting them to the latest and most compelling books in education and leadership. When Jenn is not up to her ears in books, she does a variety of consulting, including workshops to train leaders and teachers as well as school evaluation work.
Prior to this, she received her administrative license and Ed.M. from the Bank Street College of Education, and her M.A.T. and B.A. from Brown University.
