The Elizabeth Rohatyn Prize for Schools where Teaching Matters
Jane Condliffe, Deputy Director, is a founding staff member of Teaching Matters. Her work has spanned the organization’s more than 20 years of experience supporting NYC schools. She started with Teaching Matters as the Director of External Affairs responsible for developing partnerships with schools and school districts as well as other educational organizations committed to improving outcomes for students. These partnerships and relationships helped position Teaching Matters to become a leading provider of professional learning in New York City. Under Jane’s leadership, Teaching Matters has partnered with more than half of the city’s 1800+ schools. Jane came to Teaching Matters with management experience in the government and nonprofit sectors. A life-long resident of New York, she holds a B.A. from New York University.
