Cody Pietro taught social studies to middle and high school students in California, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and New York before joining the Teaching Matters team as a curriculum writer and then Educational Consultant. As a teacher, teacher leader, and curriculum writer, Cody has focused heavily on game- and inquiry-based learning and anti-racist education. They have served as a mentor to new teachers and an advisor to school and program leaders.
Cody holds a B.A. in Education Studies and an M.A.T. in Secondary History/Social Studies from Brown University.
