Simone Mailman has served as Co-Chair of Teaching Matters’ Chairman’s Council for five years, during which time she worked with her Co-Chairs to expand the Council’s membership through successful fundraising events and outreach. Her involvement in education is long-standing and includes serving as a member of the Board of Trustees at St. Bernard’s School for nine years, during which time she chaired their Strategic Planning committee.
Simone began a career in residential real estate as a broker for Brown Harris Stevens eight years ago. She previously worked in public relations, specializing in strategic corporate counseling and crisis management. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Columbia University. Simone and her husband Chris raised their two sons, now 23 and 20, in Manhattan.
