Anna is a Special Educational Consultant at Teaching Matters. Her professional career has focused on supporting students with diverse learning needs. Anna started her career as a New York City public school teacher, instructing students with disabilities in self-contained and inclusive settings. After her time in the classroom, Anna provided guidance and technical support to school districts as a Regional Associate at the New York State Education Department, Office of Special Education. Most recently, she has worked as a consultant, supporting districts across New York with programming and instruction. Anna graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from UC Berkeley and received a Masters of Science in Teaching from Pace University. She is dually certified as a teacher in both general and special education; her professional interests and areas of expertise are: differentiated and specially designed instruction, data collection and special education regulatory compliance.
