Teaching Matters provides expertise in all areas of educational consulting. We will work collaboratively with you to develop a professional development plan to meet your goals.
 Mentoring Programs
The mentoring of teachers is conducted by Teaching Matters' professional developers, all of whom have expertise in instructional technology and experience working in urban classrooms.
After working with educators to identify priorities, our professional developers design customized instruction to meet student needs as determined by testing and other data. Mentoring programs are designed for a range of teachers: from those just beginning to use technology to more advanced users.
 Workshops
Workshops prepare educators to effectively use the Internet, web-based content, and various software applications to support project-based instruction aligned to the core curriculum. Workshops are designed to improve student outcomes.
We offer a variety of standard workshops. In addition, we can customize our offerings to meet the specific needs of our clients.
 Student Events
City-wide events allow students and teachers to celebrate the good work they have done. They also act as a vehicle for the community to participate in the educational process.
We offer a number of events throughout the year for our various programs including Film Festivals, Spoken Word Festivals, Town Meeting and Writing Matters
