Connecting Schools and Families: A Conversation with Karen Mapp

Disrupting ClassKaren Mapp, Director of the Education Policy and Management Program at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, will guide us in strategizing new ways to foster a home-school connection focused on student success.

The session draws on Dr. Mapp’s acclaimed book, Beyond the Bake Sale: The Essential Guide to Family-School Partnerships. Principals are encouraged to bring one school professional responsible for parent engagement including an Assistant Principal, Guidance Counselor or Parent Coordinator.
